With the summer only a few weeks away, residents of London, Ontario are keen to get out of the house and work on that tan they’ve been neglecting since last year’s confinement rules keeping most people indoors and craving that vitamin D. Although there will be some attractions and sites still closed to the public due to the ongoing Covid-19 regulations in some places to this day, we, at Leafythings, came up with a list of activities and spots to hang out safely during these challenging times. It’s safe to say that everything done while high is more fun, enjoyable and often leads to a great experience if done safely and under Covid-19 regulations in place. We’d like to remind everyone never to get high and drive, always have a designated driver within your group and respects the rules and regulations regarding smoking cannabis in public areas. More information regarding the matter can be found here: Ontario laws and safety.

Visit A Museum
There’s something to be said about learning history and looking at artifacts thousands of years old while high.

The Museum of Ontario Archaeology showcases the history of the Indigenous population of the region, some dating 12,000 years back.

The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum is dedicated to the story of the first infantry regiment of Canada, which played a pivotal role in the Country’s conflict dating back to the War of 1812.

Go Hang Out At Victoria Park
Hosting several annual events for several years, this 7.3-hectare park was initially used as a British military base in the 1870s. Nowadays, this outdoor space has a skate park, an outdoor concert theatre and a skating rink for the winter months. Take an uber with your friends to Victoria Park and munch on a few edibles, take in some sun and have a laugh!

Head To The Largest Brewery In Canada For A Tour
There’s something about weed and booze that just sounds right. Your taste buds are on overdrive mode, making you appreciate the subtle flavours of craft beers, and beer is always a good thirst-quencher. Anyone over 19 years of age can book a tour by email on the website and visit Canada’s largest brewery. Labatt offers tours of their installations in London, explaining the process of making beers step by step, giving beer samples and the opportunity to buy some Labatt swag on your way out. Smaller craft breweries such as Toboggan Brewing Company and Anderson Craft Ales also offer tours, and for the yogis out there, Booch Organic Kombucha opens its doors to anyone willing to take a look at how Kombucha is made at their facility just outside the city centre.

Go Check Out The Races
Only a few minutes away West of London is the oldest continuously operating track in Canada. Delaware Speedway opened in 1952 has races going on every Friday evening between April and September. Stockcars, The Canadian NASCAR series, The ARCA Series, CASCAR Super Series and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour all have a stop at Delaware Speedway. Visit

Go Play Golf Around London
Arguably one of the safest outdoor activities with the ongoing pandemic is golf. Socially distanced in its nature, golf is a great way to get some much-needed vitamin D, spend some time in nature and have a good time for an afternoon with the boys. Light one up and remember to yell FORE!
