The Muttart Conservatory is a popular destination to visit in Edmonton, Alberta that was established in 1976. The conservatory consists of lucious botanical gardens that are grown to perfection in 3 greenhouses that are operated and maintained by the city. What makes these gardens as impressive as they are, is that they are thriving all-year-round since they are indoors. Edmonton is known for having absolutely brutal Canadian winters, with the lowest recorded freezing temperature of -49 degrees celsius (without windchill). Due to the core-shivering winter climate, outdoor botanical gardens that you would find in cities like Vancouver or Los Angeles, are not possible. Keeping the botanical gardens inside the greenhouses allows for the Muttart Conservatory to be a Edmonton location you can enjoy at any time of the year.
About the Muttart Conservatory
The conservatory is located in the North Saskatchewan River valley in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Muttart Conservatory was designed by architect Peter Hemingway. The design of the Muttart Conservatory is the closest resemblance to the Louvre or the Egyptian Pyramids you will experience while in Canada. Four glass pyramids make up the architectural design of the Muttart Conservatory, making it a spectacular addition to the Edmonton downtown core. Each of the pyramids contain plants from different climates. One holds plants of tropical climates, the other temperate climates, arid climates, and the last pyramid holds plants that change with the season. Depending on the time of year the fourth pyramid will hold different plants.
Being High at the Muttart Conservatory
As with many activities, getting high beforehand will always provide a more unique experience. Marijuana is a plant that contains the compounds THC and CBD which react with the mind and body to produce a euphoric high sensation throughout. THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the compound that can produce euphoric high sensations, while CBD (cannabidiol) gives more of a body-high feeling rather than in the mind.
After smoking marijuana, having an edible, or partaking in any other methods of consuming it your perception of the world around you may appear different. Often making it appear more vibrant, exciting and enjoyable. Most people report feeling more inspired, creative, or focused after smoking weed. Switching things up is the spice of life! So make a quick trip to your local Edmonton dispensary or maybe get a local weed delivery company bring over some goodies. Some of the most memorable days come from doing something that you would not normally do. We should show them how much we appreciate them by visiting them, breathing and taking them in for the necessary and beautiful part of life that they are.
