Vader Kush Strain Information

Origin/Genetics of Vader Kush 

Vader Kush is 70% Indica and tests have reported this strain to reach THC levels between 18% and 25%. Through very selective breeding, in 2008 Vader Kush (also known as Darth Vader OG, Vader OG) made its mark on the cannabis world.  It is a strain that Ocean Grown Seeds has grown very proud of as it has been highly sought after since its inception and is a multiple winner in the Concentrates category.  Now there may be confusion with this strain due to the multiple names it goes by and other versions of it.  There are 2 other versions that are known that are Purple Kush × Skywalker OG & the other is OG Kush × Skywalker Kush.  Chances of obtaining those versions are slim though.  This version here is by far the most popular & easily accessible.

Physical Form

Vader Kush has beautiful rock hard, little round balls.  About the size of a super ball (though they don't bounce), these dense little nugs barely have any give at all when you squeeze them, but once they are grinded it is a soft as cotton.  Various shades of green from light to dark cover the entire bud with the darker parts having the slightest blue tint to it.  Burnt orange hairs protrude in bunches here and there and the mild dusting of crystals give it an attractive light shine.

Aroma 

Enough to bring a tear to your eye (and it does).  Individually, the various scents are mouthwatering, but when you combine the sharp skunky diesel aroma with berry tones and an underlying spicy floral scent, it gives off an odd funky odour that isn't terrible but you have definitely have smelled better.

Flavours

The flavour carries the same characteristics as the aroma but with slightly different effects.  The sweet taste of grapes & berries hit the tongue with a pleasant surprise and combines well with the faint diesel taste underneath.  Once you exhale the flavour becomes not so pleasant with a sour herbal earthy flavour that leaves a strong sour taste in your mouth immediately afterwards, but once it calms the sweetness of the grapes & berries return and leaves a tasty coating in the back of your throat.

Experience

The long lasting, powerful effects may have you feeling exhausted at the end, but the body numbing intensity has you enjoying every minute of it.  You are quite mentally alert & talkative.  The odd giggle fit may ensue as you feel waves of intense happiness flow through your body from time to time.  The body effects are so heavy to the point where you may feel that Lord Vader is using the force to hold you in place, but you don't mind succumbing to the incredible numbing effects.
