The Capital of Canada since 1857, Ottawa gets its name from the Algonquin word adawe, meaning to trade. Home to the longest skating rink in the world, namely the Canal Rideau, the capital’s population is just shy of one million people. Almost half of that population is under the age of 35, making the city one of the youngest cities in the country. So it’s no surprise to find a lot of cannabis enthusiasts in Ottawa. Although lacking the dispensaries numbers like the neighbouring city of Toronto, the Capital’s weed scene is constantly growing and lots of reputable establishments can be visited to find high-quality products at a competitive price.

Ontario is still having a tough time shaking off this Covid-19 virus, so restrictions and confinements measures are still in place to keep the population safe. It doesn’t mean you are not able to enjoy life. We will provide you with a list of top things to do at night in the Ottawa region because, as Canadian citizens, we still need to enjoy our life and social life to keep our sanity and mental health. So follow this guide with your own precautions, comfort level and follow restrictions in place in your area at the time.

This 429 guest rooms Hotel is located right in the city centre of Ottawa, overlooking the Rideau Canal and the Ottawa River. A Fairmont room will set you back around CA$220 for a night. Designated a national historic site in 1980, this French Gothic style hotel is said to be haunted by the president of the company that built the hotel, Charles Melville Hays.
