Nestled on the pacific coast of British Columbia, Vancouver is one of the few places on earth where you can go whale watching, eat freshly caught seafood, take a walk in one of the biggest urban parks in the country which have 22 kilometres of uninterrupted waterfront walkway all in one day. With the Canadian Rockies to the east and easily seen from many places in the city on a clear day, hundreds of years old trees scattered throughout Stanley Park and the surrounding rainforest areas, Vancouver is a bustling metropolis with a diverse population. Whether you are more of an outdoor person, chic dinner type, or both, we compiled some activities and ideas worth checking out in the Van city area.

Here is a list of some of the best activities to do in and around Vancouver while high.

Dubbed one of the warmest places in Canada during winter, you can find a small line-up of surfers with thick wetsuits chasing the waves in Tofino. Skiers and boarders are flocking towards Mount Washington, where they can expect upwards of 300 inches of snow dump every season. After smoking a blunt with your friends, visit the Inner Harbour of Victoria, where many of the tourist attractions are found.
